The conference featured sessions on base oil quality, innovations for durability and compliance, advanced gear oil technologies, and next-generation formulation trends. Local solubilization of viscosity index improvers, which helps reduce reliance on imports and improve cost & flexibility for regional blenders, was another key topic. Evonik Oil Additives, Chevron Phillips, Chevron Oronite, Chevron Base Oil, and BASF provided insights on the importance of driving higher quality.
