Lubrizol has introduced a lubricant solution, Lubrizol GO3426 fluid, designed specifically for Automated Manual Transmissions (AMTs) in heavy-duty trucks. Tailored to the operational needs of AMT systems, the solution is engineered to improve fuel efficiency by lowering viscosity from 80W-90 to 75W-80, optimise shift performance, and support long-term durability, ultimately contributing to the broader goals of smarter, more efficient commercial vehicle operation.
The company has also launched Lubrizol AH933ZF, a zinc-free hydraulic fluids additive package. Zinc-free hydraulic fluids have been desirable as regulators, OEMs, and other stakeholders seek to minimise potential disruptions in sensitive environmental applications. Suitable for applications like mining, forestry, marine, and construction, Lubrizol AH933ZF meets an extensive list of OEM performance specifications while delivering differentiated hydraulic performance that benefit lubricant manufacturers, equipment OEMs, and end users alike.
In addition to the hydraulic and the transmission fluids additives, Lubrizol announced the launch of HybriCal, a lithium-free grease thickener formulation designed to meet the performance needs of modern industrial applications. HybriCal formulation is based on anhydrous calcium and answers the demands of grease manufacturers and end users for a lithium hydroxide alternative. This new solution meets the High-Performance Multiuse (HPM) Grease Specification from the National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI).
