PETRONAS launches an updated PETRONAS Urania range

SOURCE | PETRONAS LUBRICANTS INTERNATIONAL

PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) launched the new PETRONAS Urania, a range of lubricants specifically designed for commercial vehicles. This product line is backed by the company’s proprietary StrongTech technology. The launch also includes a new brand identity, simplified product navigation, and an emphasis on value-added support services.

The new updates in PETRONAS Urania include:

• Selected products are now powered by StrongTech, PLI’s additive system for longer oil life, engine protection, and cleanliness.

• Streamlined product range and labelling to help fleet owners and owner-drivers quickly identify the right solution.

• Designed to meet emissions standards, including Euro 6 and beyond.

• Addresses challenges such as fuel economy, downtime reduction, and vehicle durability across a wide variety of vehicle ages and fleet types.

• New compact range, consisting of 5 products in 3 different viscosities compatible with a wide range of OEMs; a low Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus (SAP) formulation with tailored benefits for each Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) tier.

“Transportation and logistics are changing fast. From stricter emissions regulations to the rise of second-hand fleets and OEM-owned service models, today’s transport experts require a lubricant partner they can trust to collaborate and provide counsel on the best strategies for fleet maintenance. By launching PETRONAS Urania as a dependable, high-performance solution tailored for real-world challenges, we reaffirm our role as an enabler for sustainable growth that’s trusted every mile,” said PLI Regional Managing Director Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Giuseppe Pedretti.

PETRONAS Urania reaffirms PLI’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the evolving needs of the on-road transport and logistics industry. This launch builds on expertise and industry partnerships.
