Advanced synthetic lubricant technology from Repsol Lubricants has gained approval for next-generation Euro VI engines

REPSOL

Repsol Lubricant’s synthetic lubricant for diesel engines, Giant 9670 LS-FE-LL 5W-30, has obtained approvals from Volvo VDS-5, Mack EOS-5, and Renault Trucks RLD-5, extending its official recognition in next-generation Euro VI engines and consolidating its suitability for fleets.

This low-ash oil is specifically designed for on-road use in modern engines, such as the Volvo D13N OBD20 and the Mack MP8 2021+. Its formulation responds to low viscosity 5W-30 regulations within the API FA-4framework and is focused on offering stable protection and consistent performance over long distances.

With these approvals, Giant 9670 LS-FE-LL 5W-30 reinforces its technical fit with the requirements of leading manufacturers and provides a clear response to the needs of fleets seeking to reduce internal engine friction and take care of aftertreatment systems in high-load and mileage scenarios. The low viscosity contributes to the efficiency of the assembly, while the low level of ash helps to maintain the performance of the emission treatments.

Apart from API FA-4 and the newly obtained approvals, Giant 9670 LS-FE-LL 5W-30 complies with technical references such as DTFR 15C130 (MB 228.61), DFS 93K223, and CES 20087. In addition, it is available in 20l, 208l, and 1000l formats, facilitating its integration into fleet maintenance operations. .
