Infosys and ExxonMobil Expand Immersion Cooling Fluids Partnership

STRATEGIC COLLABORATION

Infosys and ExxonMobil have announced an expansion of their strategic collaboration to develop and deploy a new suite of ExxonMobil Data Center Immersion Fluids. The partnership aims to address the rapidly growing cooling demands of data centers driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads.

By combining ExxonMobil’s advanced immersion cooling fluids with Infosys’ digital capabilities, the companies will deliver next-generation cooling systems designed for efficiency and scalability. Central to this effort is Infosys Topaz, an AI-powered suite of services and platforms leveraging generative AI technologies, alongside Infosys Cobalt, which enables enterprises to accelerate their cloud transformation journeys.

Infosys Topaz will play a key role in optimizing cooling operations in real time, enabling smarter energy consumption, predictive maintenance, and enhanced infrastructure performance. Meanwhile, Infosys Cobalt will provide a secure, cloud-enabled foundation to deploy these solutions seamlessly across hybrid and data center environments, ensuring operational reliability and integration for enterprise clients.

The collaboration also focuses on delivering scalable solutions tailored to hyperscalers, global enterprises, and public-sector organizations. Target industries include financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, and government sectors, all of which are experiencing increased demand for high-performance digital infrastructure.

Ashiss Kumar Dash, EVP and Global Head of Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy and Enterprise Sustainability at Infosys, emphasized that the partnership represents a major step toward building efficient and sustainable digital ecosystems. He noted that integrating AI-driven optimization with secure cloud deployment can significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions while supporting enterprise growth.
