C hevron has launched a Group III+ base oil: NEXBASE® 4 XP. NEXBASE® 4 XP, denoting its ‘extra performance,’ expands Chevron’s full line of NEXBASE Group III base oils, including NEXBASE 3043, 3050, 3060, and 3080.

“The launch of NEXBASE 4 XP is the latest in significant investments Chevron has made in its NEXBASE brand including expanding its qualifications portfolio, upgrading the specs of NEXBASE 3043 and adding new terminals,” said Alicia Logan, General Manager, Base Oils. “NEXBASE 4 XP will be globally available, starting with hubs across Europe, which will help customers optimize supply logistics and costs.”
