Atlas Copco celebrates 150 years of operation

Altas Copco Group recently celebrated its 150-year anniversary. This celebration held in Nairobi Kenya was attended by the Swedish Ambassador to Kenya, Her Excellency Caroline Vicini; members of the Swedish Business Council; Atlas Copco customers; and officials from the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM); the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK); and the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).

Raphael Kiandiko, Atlas Copco East and Central Africa CEO and GM said: “Our success has been fostered by carrying out business with high regard to safety, ethics and the environment. Sustainability is at the heart of Atlas Copco, and we aim to not only be the first in mind, but also, the first in choice to our customers. Since Atlas Copco’s entry into the Kenyan market in 1936, we have been serving the manufacturing, construction, energy and construction industries among others.
